Hill and Friends SS20 Lookbook
Hill and Friends
Made In England
Emma Hill
Riley
This small shoulder bag plays with proportions, with a stark architectural shape and bold graphic look.
Featuring an oversized square hinge flip-lock closure with blind embossed
leather insert and super skinny shoulder strap. The strap is designed to be
knotted to wear on the shoulder, cross body or short-shoulder. The strap can
also be removed using the tiny lobster claw dog clips to carry Riley as a clutch.
All hardware is silver tone. The silhouette can be worn with the side gussets
extended to emphasise the bags bold symmetry or with them folded in for
a more lady like, boxy aesthetic.
I occupy my conscious mind with things to do, lines to draw, movements to organize, rhythms to invent.

Cecily
Medium shoulder bag with squared proportions and a full body front flap
featuring the large Hill & Friends Made in England blind emboss.
Featuring unlined leather, raw painted edges, silver tone hardware and
a flared and reinforced shoulder strap. The silhouette can be worn with the
side gussets extended to emphasise the bags bold symmetry or with them
folded in for a more lady like, boxy aesthetic.
I love to look at art, I love to look at paintings, and I almost feel like the experience isn’t complete until I’ve made something of my own.

MINI BELL
Mini half-moon shape with extra wide depth and a full body flap featuring the blind embossed Hill & Friends Made in England branding.
This mini bag features a thread through top handle and shoulder strap providing the flexibility to hand carry, wear on the shoulder or cross body.
Discrete silver tone hardware and a magnetic closure complete the unlined, raw edge painted construction. Available in a colour-dipped, saturated, gouche bright palette.
I do not think it matters whether one agrees or not as long as one is forced to think.

HEPWORTH
A shape-shifting tote with deceptive simplicity, two sets of super skinny handles
one short (hand held) and one long (shoulder), together with skinny shoelace ties, transform the shape of the tote from a traditional open silhouette to a closed triangular form.
Designed to function both front and side facing. Unlined leather, raw painted
edges, minimal silver toned hardware and oversized blind emboss branding
celebrating Made in England.
Straps are studded to the body of the bag to create a traditional newspaper
loop carrier.
I rarely draw what I see.
I draw what I feel in my body.
